PRAYER BIKER

Carrie just suggested we have a way to show who the Charter members are.

Right now there isn't a way, so I would like to open up some discussion on it.


I don't think a membership level would be the best way, since there are admins and moderators already, who are also Charters.

I am wondering if a basic requirement could be that a Charter member patch is purchased AND a PrayerBiker round patch AND that they are sewn on to your vest. This is just a suggestion at the moment. This would clearly show a member's commitment to being a Charter?

I just added a choice to member profiles to mark them as a Charter once they provide a photo that they have sewn on the patches? I am just trying to properly recognise these great members. (Phil go set yours I know I have your photo of them!)

What does anyone think? I know a few people have already bought some of the patches and probably already have them sewn.

I still think that PrayerBiker is in it's infancy as far as being about 1 year old now and having about 250 members. I think the ability to be a Charter is still open to those interested because of our petite membership that is actually active and our age (the website age not Phil's age). Maybe we can discuss capping it at 2 years though?

How do I do that?

Click on your name (under the menu top left). That brings you to your profile. Then click on the profile tab and edit it. You can then select that you are a Charter member. Then save it underneath.

I agree on two years, because of the slow start and also so that people know how to establish themselves as a Charter member.

Yea! :hand: Cmon people. Let's show off Prayerbiker.com. Wearing the PB patch is a great way to advertise and get more people on board. You wouldn't believe the comments and questions about those patches.
